Liverkick.com was the source I used to reference that Badr Hari is returning to kickboxing. However, it appears that his return hasn’t been OFFICIALLY announced. While I believe that Badr Hari is most likely returning to kickboxing, I will hold off on updating his status until there is official word.
I believe that even Badr Hari, at this point, doesn’t know what his future holds, and he’s trying to make a momentous decision about his life. Stay tuned…

Thank you for the clarification, it’s good to know that Badr Hari is going to try to win the one achievement that has eluded him in kickboxing. It’s got to be frustrating for him to always be in the K1 grand prix finals but never ever win. He’s becoming the Susan Lucci of the k1 grand prix, LOL.

Hi, even Ghita has a lot to go to get the level of Badr at this moment. That Ghita beaten Gerges does not say anything. A focused Badr is unbeatable. He is also physically bigger now.
If he want to win and stay focused, he can do it! Badr Hari for life!
hello, and thanks for commenting! i will have to disagree about Ghita beating Gerges not meaning anything. Badr Hari was going full-strength against gerges and he didn’t even come close to knocking him out. however, i do agree that the k1 grand prix is Badr’s to lose this year. If he doesn’t win it, then it proves that he just wasn’t good enough to win a major tournament. Although in every regards he is perhaps the best kickboxer alive right now.
